Painting from the Heart
Ages 6-9
August 8th - 12th (9am-12pm each day)

Located at Simply Create in New Paltz

In this week-long class, local art teacher Lauren Papot will guide students in drawing and painting both ‘from life’ and ‘from the heart.’ Students will have the opportunity to create realistic and imaginative art as they tune in to their intuitive art-making abilities in a supportive, non-competitive environment. Summer Arts workshop for children entering grades 1, 2, 3 in Fall 2010

Led by local art teacher Lauren Papot

In this week-long arts immersion course for 6 – 8 year olds, young artists will explore different materials and techniques in art, while incorporating physical elements and inspiration from the great outdoors. We will create artwork both “from life” and from our imaginations while making friends and having fun in the sun.

August 9 – 13th, 9:00 – 12:00 each day

$200 includes the full cost of art materials, a light, healthful snack, and 15 hours of semi-private art instruction and interaction with other young artists.
